January 31, February 1, 2, and 3rd.

Left Chinderah, was a very nice place to stay. Exploring the coast , but is very built up and not easy to get to the beach. Checked out Kingscliff, Fringal Head,Tweeds Head, South Tweeds Head, Coolangatta and then drove inland to Bilambel, Carool to Murwillumbah, Uki, Kyogle and finally to Casina where we will stay.
February 1.
good park at Casino, spent evening chatting with some of the residence who live in the park, they are mostly workers at the slaughter house which employes 500 persons. Most of the meat is exported.
In the morning we are off again to revisit Tenterfield, Stanthrope and Warwick and just north went off via a very rural highway over to Gatton. Staying at a caravan park that is used by the backpackers who come to work for the local vegetable growers. Once a months on Sunday the local Baptist Church do a barbecue for the backpackers in the park and we were invited to attend. Meet a very nice couple who invited us to there home for coffee and gave us a tour around the town and showed us where the floods of four years ago had wiped out part to the town of Grantham.
On the way to Stanthorpe from Tenderfield you pass through the the little village of Wallancarra that straddles the NSW/Queensway and share the village with Jennings. The village market was on so we stopped to see that was for sale and chatted with some of the residence. Had lunch and continued on.
In most small villages in Australia you meet very friendly people who are a wealth of information of the surrounding area.
February 2, 3, 2015.
From Gatton to Brisbane, two days at a caravan park then turning the van in, will spend last two day at motel and get all things packed and ready to depart on the 6th.
Will miss all the wonderful people that we have meet along the way, the relatives and the generous hospitality and the people of Australia for their warmth and friendliness. Will also miss the sunny warm weather. While it is always great to get home I will not be liking the cold and snow.
This will be my last post from Australia.
Next post will be from Taiwan, as we have a couple days there before we fly home to Vancouver.
