Redcliffs

when in Redcliffs we did some shopping but mainly just spent time with our friends.
The weather was fairly good with a few showers but was a bit cold. On Saturday there was a tornado that struck about 15 kilometers away from where we were and did a few a million dollars damage to grape crops.

Burra to Redcliffs

Leaving Burra and on to Morgan, we enter the Riverlands along the Murray River. take the ferry over the Murray River at Morgan and drive along the river to Walkerie. From Burra to Morgan mostly grain. Fields with the odd fields of grapes, but from there on there is grapes and citrus fruit. In Monash we bought 10 lbs of fresh off the tree oranges for $3.00.
On to Renmark , leaving here again grain. Scrub and sheep until we get close to Mildura and the it is mainly grapes. We drive through Mildura to Redcliffs where we are staying for a few days with friends.
