Wilpena Pound and back to Hawker.

Wilpena Pound = means enclosure in local Aboriginal language.
Did the 3K walk out and then 0.5K hike up 700 meters in elevation to the lookout, spectacular views of the pound and surrounding area, back to the park and on to Blinman with stops along the way at The Great Wall of China, a large outcropping of rock that runs for some kilometers. Then a stop at Stokes Hill with views of Wilpena Pound and St. Mary,s Peak at 1171 meters the highest peak in the Flinders Range.
Had lunch in Blinman at the general store, great burgers.
then Angorichina village . Further west of Blinman at the end of the well formed 32K road through the Parachilna  Gorge is Parachilna and the famous Prairie Hotel ( famous for its Flinders feral cuisine ).

Then it was back down to Hawler where we will stay this evening.  A small village .
