November 11, 12 , 13, 2014

Left Penong and drove to the Pink and Blue Lake , this is where salt water is dehydrated by the sun and salt is mined.
Then on to Ceduna and the last two holes on the Nullarbor golf course. I finished with a score of 128 and a certificate to prove that I did it.
Then through Wirrulla,  Cungena, Poochera, Minnipa, Yaninee, Pygery, Wudinna, Kyancutta , all small villages around  large granaries , this area is largely agricultural growing grains which are being harvested now.  We camped just down the road , free camping in a farmers front yard.
this is an old grain farm but the house and the surrounding buildings are not being used. Meet  the young farmer who owns this land. Has 6000+ hectares in wheat, barley, canola and peas.  the old house is where his grandfather was born, four generations on the patch. Wudinna has a large granite sculpture - Australian Farmer
Beautifil sun set this evening.
