So glad that we stayed in a motel last evening , was 43.5C at 6:00 PM. Got up this morning to a cooler day but decided that would stay here again today. Went out early to tale photos of the town and visit a couple underground churches where I lit a candle.
Visited all the opal shops and bought a couple pieces. Then back for lunch and the a tour of the dog fence, Coober Pedy golf course, the Breakaways, underground home, mine and museum, the moon plains and the town area. Very good tour,informative.
Weather today much cooler at 29.5C with a few drops of rain. This evening it is raining so will not have to leave a early as planned to beat the heat.
