Walked around Cobar this morning to get some photos of the town and the out to the view point to have a look at the open pit mine. Then it was out to the Kidman highway on on our way to Bourke, with a stop at the National Park along the way but the road was closed so could not get into the aboriginal painting there. So arrive early at Bourke and staying at a quite nice caravan park in North
Bourke. Took a walk down to the river but had to watch were you walked due to the bull ants that can give you a nasty bite.
Tomorrow will investigate the town of Bourke before we drive to Lighting Ridge.
