Leaving Corryong stopped at the museum and then got some groceries and we're off to Kancoban, very good road narrow but not too many curves. Khancoban just a small village maybe 100 persons.
The spent a couple hour going through the Murray 1 power station. The road is mostly up hill from here and is again very windy with very sharp hair pin turns, this continues for 77 Km until you get to Thredbo where there is a dramatic change in the road, wider, has lines and is fairly straight to Jindabyne where we are staying at the Jundabyne caravan park right on the lake.
We were invited by the owners to have drinks and nibbles with them and the other people on the park, was a great evening .

Rain, lightning and thunder over night, this morning is very windy, the tram at Thredbo is not running so will go out to Charlotte Pass and take in the views and do a couple walks, but the wind was gusting 70 to 90 Km up at the top and it made walking a bit of a challenge so just did a short walk and the. Returned to the caravan park, did laundry and walked a bit around the lake, made dinner and tomorrow will again try to go to Mt Kosciuszko , take the tram and do the walk to the top.
