Mitta Mitta to Corryong

Leaving Mitta Mitta going out through the valley to Dartmouth to have a look at the hydro dam and Lake Dartmouth. Made a couple stops to take photos then back to Mitta Mitta for the drive to Tallangatta, a much straighter road than those of the past two days. Stopped here for coffee and then on to Corryong in the Snowy Mountain region. Here you see the statue  depicting the Man From Snowy from the poem by Banjo Paterson. Jack Riley is buried here, he was the inspiration for the poem
Albert has had his photo taken by a photo journalist for a book she is having publishes, has taken a different persons photo every day for a year.  She is to send us a link to the blog that contains the photos.
Have been trying to get a horse trek into the Snowy Mountains but the cost is too great, $1120 for a three day four night ride so unless we find something cheaper will have to give this a pass.
