Stayed at Bingara last evening, went into town to take photos and look around, very nice friendly village, has murals on some of the buildings. has been raining on and off, good for the farmers but not good for tourists.
At Warialda did some sacking's but not stones, so in Inverell have gone out to a bush camp to do some fossicking for sapphires, have found a couple of pieces but is raining and will stay overnight and the if still raining will leave.
14th. Still raining so have left going back into Inverell and going out to Tingha to look for stones at the sand mill. Have found a couple of nice stones but was still raining so got very wet.
On to Guyra and the Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival which started today, had a short look around and lunch of guess what " lamb" and then cut it festival short as it is still raining and far too wet to walk around. Only have a rain jacket and it is already soaked for, this morning.
We will stop in Glen Innis for the evening taking a room at the local motel, just have to get out of the rain for the night. Camping is great but need a day when you do not have to run to the facilities in the rain. No photos when it is raining but did take some in Bingara during breaks in the rain
